First Family Trip!
My accomplishment in 2014. Planning for a trip for six can get quite stressful but it was all worth it. All of us took a trip to Hong Kong in Jan'14 and boy did we have fun! The furthest mom and pops went were Cameron Highlands (which they repeatedly told us since we were kids) and the trip was a first for them to be on a plane! So you can imagine how happy and accomplished I felt to be able to show them the world :')
Loss of Grandma
My greatest lost in 2014. We were kinda prepared for it.. as she was starting to get more frail each day and spending a lot more time in and out of the hospital, even right up till the CNY week. Fortunately, we managed to have her with us during the lunar new year and took our last family photo together. Can't believe it's already been a year.. and it's going to be different without her this CNY. You will always be missed 阿媽~
Datsumo Competition
My most interesting moment in 2014. Looking back, it still feels kinda surreal! From the start of it till clinching the title, i would say the best of it all was the exposure it led me to. The various sponsorships and the wonderful people i've met through this competition! Also, the reason to why I've decided to kickstart my rusty writing skills all over again :)
Japan, Tokyo - Winter
My most exciting moment in 2014. Also, the best time of my life. i have been dreaming about japan since i was a kid, the love i have for tokyo or should i say, the love i have for anything and everything japan! (although i must say the love sorta die down a lil after growing up). Having set foot in the place that i love, with the man that i love, was the perfect way to end the year (more on tokyo trip later!).
Our 3rd Year
My most loved in 2014. And will be for a long long time to come. We have our downs but i'm grateful we have mostly ups :) , I feel immensely grateful to have met and fell in love with a man that shows me so much generosity, patience and honesty. This year, we got to know each other deeper, better and interestingly, we took little baby steps to build a future together. Can't wait to venture 2015 with you!
To Sum Up
I remember telling myself to be more positive in 2014 and i cant say for sure that i stayed positive all the damn way but i constantly reminded myself to. And i have my loved ones to thank for always being so supportive. Especially the family and my close friends (you know who you are!).
In 2015
Last lap of my 20s, although I have yet to decide on my resolutions but I know for sure that I will wanna be stronger, be it emotionally or physically, be it for myself or for others. To be more independent than I already am, for myself and for others to depend on. Self enrichment, they say.
Also, can't wait to travel further and explore even more of the world. 2015 is going to be a blast!
