Lulu The Movie Press Conference + Gala!

One of the perks of being an ASUS Ambassador, we got ourselves invites to "Lulu The Movie" press conference, rub shoulders with actors and actresses of the movie, and of course, first dibs on watching PLUS attending the premiere gala!

Picked our seats and event started promptly with organizer, Diana (bearing an uncanny resemblance to Michelle, I heard they are sisters XD) starting off by thanking us for our attendance and ushering one of the best drag queens ever...

(I present you RURU!!!! But erm... more like Ruhua..)

We were all stunned by Pornsak's transformation (think he probably shocked himself as well) and even Lulu herself gave him so much credit for this sacrifice 😂😂! Apparently, RURU is LULU's BFF back in Guangzhou... wat iz ah you thinks?

Please don't ask me what that black dot is.. I can only assume its some sort of a button that acts as a fashion accessory? A secure device maybe....? And yes, that's Lulu trying to get Michelle's face onto our screens..😝

So.... 天文大哥 is supposed to be the "不来的比特" in Lulu's life and I'm guessing, the other love interest besides Leon Jay Williams. Ruru was dishing out jokes about how his wife is from China as well and if she's (RURU) prettier than his wife, he took all the humor so well and laughed alongside with us!

Rest of the press conference was so amusing, we were all breaking out in laughter the whole time! Besides explaining each artiste's character in the movie and how was their experience working under Michelle, there was this particular tender moment where she shed tears after Pornsak delivered a quick speech saying how difficult it was for her from the start of making this movie, to post production and even marketing. Talk about blood, sweat and tears altogether, she was the epitome of #PowerWomen.

Was an awesome day out with the zennies as well. Every time we get together, there's always laughter, fun, exchanging of tips and never-ending conversations! Was our first time meeting Kiyoko as well and she already has a nickname among the group 😂😂. Heres to more outings in future!

Lulu The Movie's Gala Premiere

It was slightly chaotic during the reception, mainly cause hoards of fans were crowding around the area hoping to catch a glance of Lulu. We mingled for a bit, had some light snacks before heading up for the show which was opened by Lee Teng!

Lulu and 不来的比特 appeared after the quick introduction to greet the hall and of course, to thank the amass of supporters for coming to the Gala! I can only imagine how tire out Michelle was, after rushing and saying thanks to 4-5 halls of cinema goers. MANY THUMBS UP for her professionalism!

All jokes aside (but wait, this movie is all about the jokes), I'll have to give " Lulu The Movie " a 4 out of 5 stars! I personally love how Michelle inserted humor at the right moments, with them not being too cheesy or too lame for the public's liking. Also, she injected interesting cameos (even her own parents, LOL) and you can look out for this certain international artiste that Bubs thought was N.O.C's Franster.... LOLOL.

What's a tad lackluster was probably her love choices or love story but you probably won't take note of that given the stitches that this movie is going to give you. GO WATCH IT, I always believe in supporting local talent, artistes and products so give your support as XIN JIA PO REN, YES-SI?
