During my teen years, I got my fashion inspiration from all over the place, literally. I get ideas and styles from watching shows like ANTM, F.R.I.E.N.D.S (Monica & Rachel!) to pop stars like Britney Spears, Victoria Beckham etc. Not to forget...

They were all the rage in the late 90s to early 2000s, with also other brand mags like Seventeen, Popteen, CanCam, etc (also, blarrrdy expensive). Ladies my era often camped at Heeren shopping mall (remember the Harajuku lookalike alleys?) waiting for the shops to launch all these Japanese apparels every single month. Even if we don't buy anything, we'd be happy to just hang out and take neoprints XD.
So can you imagine my EXCITEMENT(!!!) when I was asked to be an ambassador to one of the labels that I've loved FOR SO MANY YEARS!

There were just too many choices to make on their site and most apparels are super easy to go with whatever that I have in my wardrobe! So, I have picked out WEGO's Reversible Tulle Layered Skirt as I love anything that comes with a tulle (which girl doesn't?) but not many tulle apparels are suited for casual wear, so I was thrilled to find this!
Next: EMODA's Front Zip High Waist Jeggings. Anything high waisted? Me love. Anything from EMODA? Mad love. I know I might look all skin and bones but that bulge in my tummy is horrendous at times. Thus, high waist shorts/skirts/jeans/jeggings/skorts/pants probably took up most of my wardrobe space.
(The only downside of wearing them...)

Look at this gorgeous skirt!! With the subtle tulle showing, it exudes an extra feminine touch! I'm also super concerned when it comes to wearing materials that are comfortable, not prickly and of course cooling for this weather. Thus, the 100% cotton lining was superb and so soothing to wear! I'd recommend pairing it with soft blue tones like the picture above or go with a white plain button shirt for an edgy look. Skirt comes in 2 colours and it's free size!

Next up, the label that I love most, EMODA. Kinda sad that Ena Matsumoto is not longer with them, I really love her style!
For this Jeggings, nothing can go wrong with it. It was so easy for me to mix and match. From off shoulder, tanks, strapless to even sweaters. Jeggings are skinny fit and made of mostly cotton too, so it's breathable and so comfortable to wear! I picked out the lighter tone instead of the darker one, cause for me, the dark jeans usually just makes my yellow skin more dull. Oh, there's also 3 different sizes to choose from (XS, S, M)!
